Science Learning Center for Retraining and Continuing Education of Higher School Staff
Human capital, its quality and management capacity is the basis for successful and sustainable development of the University in a time of changes. Herein the implementation by Educational-Scientific Center for Retraining and Continuing Education of Higher School Staff its programs is one of the most important factors of University’s stable development.
Science Learning Center for Retraining and Continuing Education of Higher School Staff is a unit of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics which functioning for 42 years. Basic objectives of the Center is to control and maintain of high level of University’s workforce potential, also to trace the newest tendencies in the educational sphere and to introduce of innovating learning technologies as well.
At present time the Center works towards realization and processing the wide-range of programs:
- innovation technologies;
- business analytics for teaching the economic disciplines;
- basics of projects managements;
- development the electronic learning resource;
- training of lectureships in English etc.
A separate field of Center’s activity is personnel reserve training. The aim of this line is strengthening personnel potential of the University through selection and maintenance of young and gifted employees in the field of education, science and innovation. Formation of individual trajectories of employees is under consideration of the Center as well.
Within the Center’s framework a program of innovation learning technologies actively develops. This program aims to elaborate the competence of effective communication, scientific problematization and reflexive analytics.
One of the leading lines of Center’s activities is organization and holding project and scenario-based seminars which are conceptual construction based on the synthesis of project management, Activity Theory and practical activities of creative groups.
